His statement just shows his deep-seated racism, and nothing more.

The fact that he won’t be given the boot shows that his employer is likewise racist.

Thanks massmike.

Absolutely right, it is racist. Does he really believe somehow that black people are more prone to violence? Sure sounds that way. It would be good if some black leaders, even Democrats, were to condemn his remarks but I doubt that will happen.

I am not all that enthusiastic about Romney but when I hear this kind of slime coming from supporters of the other side it makes me desperately want to see them tossed out.

You’re right, it does show racism on his part.

We have lived for 24 years in a neighborhood that is integrated 50/50. No white flight, when homes are sold, they may change from black owners to white, or white owners to black owners. The neighborhood is stable and safe.

Our liberal paper called our Neighborhood Association President a racist for one of our crime prevention programs (and we have lots of them, and have one of the lowest crime rates in the city.) So this woman who has lived in this 50/50 neighborhood for 20 plus years is called a racist, when in actuality it’s the paper who’s assuming a program to deter crime is aimed at blacks (which is wasn’t it’s just aimed at criminals.)

On another topic, I can count on one hand the number of Obama signs I’ve seen in our neighborhood. There are signs for local races, like school board, but very few Obama signs. Does that mean I believe my neighbors will vote for Romney, well some of them will because they do tend to be upper middle class business folk who are affected by Obama’s policies, but most will probably still vote for Obama...if they vote. The enthusiasm just isn’t there and the lines at the polls are due to be long...we have a 4 page ballot this go due to 12 Amendments on the ballot plus national and local races.
