I don't know about HLS, but med schools admitted 2.6 under AA.

Which is why I would not trust a black surgeon in a million years. There might be a black surgeon who is the greatest surgeon in the history of the universe, but thanks to "affirmative action", that black surgeon suffers a stigma and he will never be fully trusted by many people. Congratulations to the Democrat politicians, the blacks who elect them, and the top black professionals who stand by silently and let this disgrace continue. Nice work.

Yep. You should check out the public health service if you want to see government disfunction.

I went to law school and I recall that every medical malpractice suit that was important enough to have become a landmark case involved a black surgeon. I, too, wouldn’t trust a black surgeon in a million years.

Which is why I would not trust a black surgeon in a million years....Find out if he was ever a medic in the Army, or a Corpsman in the Marines, first. Our Medic, whom I rate all my GP’s against, was black and performed crap under fire most Doctors wouldn’t do in an emergency room. He got out, got his GI Bill and caught the attention of ‘someone’ who sent him on to be one of the most highly touted oncologista in his state. I’ll never forget when I caught the flu and strep throat at a FB and he reached in his locker and brought out a fifth of Jim Beam, a handful of Momma’s anise Christmas candy and said “Get some hot water, drink as much as you can with a mouthful of this candy, grab 12 hrs. of sleep and get on that 60. You’re the best we got up here.”

???

Pretty harsh. I’m sorry you feel that way.
Ben Carson is one of my inspirations, and I’ve known & worked with...ohh, about a half-dozen black doctors over my 20-year career. Every one of them was EXCELLENT.

I guess you’ve never heard about Ben Carson. One of the most famous pediatric neurosurgeons on earth.

You may not ever need to trust him, but there are many people who have travelled very far to trust those most precious to them to his very gifted hands.
