Local liberals playing with the public ... Sean Hannity had several minutes of his program ‘scrubbed’ from the air by a local working our 910 Talk Radio in the Tri-Cities just when Sean was about to detail the Benghazi lies by Obama and company. There was dead air which lasted until the discussion shifted to a different issue.

If their excuse is that they’re using “test data” as a dry run for reporting on election night, pray tell why are they not using “Generic Candidate” as the name of the pretend winner, rather than one of the actual candidates?
Same thing with the NC voting machine story recently reported, about how the machine vote kept coming up for BO when the voter kept selecting Romney, and the election worker’s excuse was that the machine had to be “re-calibrated.” Why can’t they use dummy data when the machines are first set up so the vote isn’t skewed to one candidate or another when the actual voting begins? An electronic scale is set to zero when it’s turned on, not set to 1 oz. by default because the machine anticipates you’re going to weigh an ounce of corned beef or whatever. This is not just ridiculous, it’s downright disturbing.

They’re pre-producing all of the news graphics for election night. The numbers are irrelevant. “Generic candidate” isn’t running, so there’s no reason not to use the candidates names.
There is literally nothing sinister about this. I’ve worked in major market TV for more than 30 years and this is neither new nor a big deal.
