Megyn Kelly: Media in spin room laughed and applauded at Obama’s “bayonets” line

Via Mediaite. I take it the defense here will be that they weren’t rooting for Obama, just grooving on a righteous zinger expertly dealt even though it was incorrect on the merits. But maybe I’m wrong; maybe there’ll be no defense. The media’s gotten more forthright about its biases and shortcomings over the past 10 years thanks to the endless watchdogging online, so there’s no sense grasping for excuses. Why bother? Everyone knows the score. This isn’t the first time reporters have been caught rooting publicly against a Republican, either. The Seattle Times gave bloggers a week of laughs five years ago when they admitted that some staff members had cheered Karl Rove’s resignation; the editor reprimanded them for showing partisanship in a place as “sacred and magical” as the newsroom. A few days later, Joe Scarborough revealed that people in the MSNBC “newsroom” had booed Bush consistently through one of his SOTUs. When he told MSNBC prez Phil Griffin about it, Griffin supposedly “turned red very quickly” and put a stop to it. And that’s how MSNBC became the sober, studiously nonpartisan investigative news team that you know today.

I am unable to watch obama, even for something as important as the last debate. In fact, I will change the channel if one of his ads comes on tv while I'm watching.

But I was amazed when I heard some of the clips from last night. He sounded so condescending. Guess that the chicago, street hustler coming out, when he knows that he's clearly outmatched on ever level.

However, just so the president knows, because he knows so much more about the military than anyone else, horses are used and have been used quite a bit. If he wants proof, he can go to Ft Campbell and talk to the 5th SFG soldiers who rode with the Northern Alliance as they moved into Afghanistan.

Or he could go to the most trusted news agency in the world and check out this link:

Pray for America

The key to that exchange IMO was the word sequestration ..... That stands for massive job cuts . More unemployment . Civilian and DOD/Goobermint jobs .....

Good point about the equestrian elite efforts in Afghanistan .

Stay Safe.

Dear President Obama: just because you’ve slept in the back of Air Force 1, that doesn’t make you a fighter pilot. That makes you a snoozer catching a few winks on the way to beg for money in Las Vegas.

In 1992, I nearly drove off the road while driving between Durango, Colorado and Farmington, New Mexico on election night: when it was announced on NPR that Clinton had been declared the winner, the newsroom burst into loud and sustained cheering and revelry. I was so furious that I immediately cancelled my payroll deduction to support my local NPR station, and have not wasted a cent on NPR voluntarily (I know they still get into my wallet through the gummint).

Almost all the MSM has completely abandoned any pretext at objectivity. Jefferson's despairing comment in 1807 about newspapers could as easily today be expanded today to include most of the electronic media: It is a melancholy truth, that a suppression of the press could not more compleatly deprive the nation of it's benefits, than is done by it's abandoned prostitution to falsehood. Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle.

Fortunately, the internet is rapidly driving the MSM into irrelevance, and their inordinate pernicious effect on the body politic is rapidly subsiding.

I was laughing out loud my self wondering if Reggie Love has told Obama he has no interest in playing submarine. Reggie knows it’s not just a boat that goes under the water.

I hope the MSM is enjoying themselves for the next two weeks, because I, for one, will be laughing on election night.

This is illustrations kenyans problem. He is playing to the elite and hipster crowd who are already in his camp. That the presstitutes lap up this pablum is no surprise. Meanwhile the married woman in OH with a son in the Navy does not find this stuff funny at all. Bye bye Barack.

The laugh’s on them. When I take over as your Conservative King and Benevolent Dictator for Life I will have them all rounded up and shot. But don’t worry! We’ll have film at 11!

Imagine for a minute, the reaction (and outrage), if Romney had said such a thing to Obama.

Well, this election will spell the end of the media. After Romney is elected, look for more newspapers and news shows get scrapped in the next four years than have disappeared in the last 20 years. There is no longer any use for a print or broadcast media.

I was so pleased to hear that Newsweak was shutting down the print copy and like to think I hastened its demise by turning each magazine to the back cover or stashing it behind other publications every time I saw it in the grocery or kiosk.

If Elmo shared money out of his stash Klinger wouldn’t need to sell windows on PBS.

I hope ex Military come forth in ads and out his comment for the stupid, uninformed comment that it was. They could easily swift boat him on this one.

President Romney should have asked comrade obama if the demise of the horse had anything to do with America “inventing the automobile” or “building the intercontinental railroad.”
