I see being a doula as a political act and I believe that abortion, pregnancy, and childbirth can be a radical act of love and resistance. I’ve held the hands of thousands of people during their abortions and the compassion and love that I’ve witnessed while supporting someone during their abortion has shaped the kind of birth doula that I am today.
Being queer and actively choosing to work with queer and trans folks makes me a little different than the traditional doula (and I love that!).

The “radical act of love” in helping someone murder their own child is a great example of the political poison that Homosexuality injects into society. What seems wise to mans logic is often quite foolish in God’s eyes. Homosexuals have rejected God’s wisdom for a very poor substitute. In the end, their error leads not only themselves into a self destructive life, but destroys all that they touch.
What then is liberal? Is it not liberation from the laws of nature and the God that created it? What are they “liberated” from?
The Liberal / Conservative battle is a life and death struggle with eternal consequences. It is not just a political lean.

This woman's role as an abortion doula seems to go against everything that doula stands for. Instead of helping people and infants, its her job to "compassionately" whisper "you're doing the right thing" into a scared girl's ear in an attempt to drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit screaming to stop.

I was not trying to criticize, but when an article starts out with “I” it’s easy to assume that the author of the article is referring to herself. It’s not until the last line when the other lady’s name is revealed.
