AGW Spin prior to them asking for another grant to finish their study of why FIELD MICE MOVED 200 FEET higher up the mountain. To avoid global warming no doubt. Another 2,000,000 down the liberal drain.

I am learningWe all are. I used to use the IMG WIDTH=xxx (where xxx is pixels) command, and then one time (even with it), my picture turned out HUGE. Someone told me about using IMG WIDTH='xx%' (which limits width to a PERCENTAGE of the size of the viewers DISPLAY).
I was just trying to pass on some helpful info for the next time you post an image. It helped me (and those on DIALUP), I thought it would help you.

(Obama should change his campaign slogan to "Yes, we am!" Sounds as stupid as his administration is.)

Well, I believe in global warming, as well as global cooling.
There was an MWP. Then there was a LIA.
Very little in life or nature is constant.
I am not a scientist, and I do not even play one on TV, but I consider all climate change to be natural, and totally out of the hands of man.

A tiny piece of sanity appears at the end of the article:
But a solid majority -- 70% -- said they would like at least a little more information on the subject, study authors wrote.

It reminds me of people who fret about a couple of degrees room temperature, so are always fiddling with the thermostat, not understanding that turning it higher or lower doesn't 'cause it to warm up faster" or "cool off quicker": heating or cooling is either ON or OFF.
They also don't understand the temp setting is average; and that the unit has limit switches and as it warms above that, cooling kicks on at 100%, and stays on, until it tics a bit below average, and vice-versa...and when within the limits, does neither.

Someone told me about using IMG WIDTH='xx%' (which limits width to a PERCENTAGE of the size of the viewers DISPLAY).Thanks for that info. I've always used the pixel size command, believing that the % command was based on the original image's size. Never dreamed it had anything to do with the viewer's display size.

changing the image width will not speed up downloads. The browser will still request the full size, full res picture, then scale it before displaying.
