I am learning

We all are. I used to use the IMG WIDTH=xxx (where xxx is pixels) command, and then one time (even with it), my picture turned out HUGE. Someone told me about using IMG WIDTH='xx%' (which limits width to a PERCENTAGE of the size of the viewers DISPLAY).

I was just trying to pass on some helpful info for the next time you post an image. It helped me (and those on DIALUP), I thought it would help you.

Thanks for that info. I've always used the pixel size command, believing that the % command was based on the original image's size. Never dreamed it had anything to do with the viewer's display size.

changing the image width will not speed up downloads. The browser will still request the full size, full res picture, then scale it before displaying.
