Yeah I’ve got Dish, too and am po’d that I don’t have the AMC channels. Hell on Wheels is a good show. Have had to watch it a season behind on Netflix.

Have had to watch it a season behind on Netflix.IMO, there a several HUGE upsides to using Netflix:
- No "AMC" logo in the lower right of your screen
- No huge flashy graphics for other AMC shows in the lower left of your screen
- No commercials. And especially no commercials for upcoming episodes of "Hell on Wheels" itself.
- SPOILER ALERT: You can skip the extremely stupid episode where Theodore John "Ted" Kaczynski is transported back to the 1860s and wants a "manifesto" published in a New York newspaper

This is breaking bad for Dish. I bet there are a bunch of mad men in their corporate offices. The folks who made the decision to play hardball with AMC are probably walking dead men in terms of their future career opportunities.

All very interesting. I can remember Voom building a remote uplink facility just north of Black Hawk SD on I-90. It wasn’t long after that they went bust, and Dish bought the facility. I thought that at least some of the HD content passed to Dish HD programming options.

AMC is also pounding Dish in virtually every commercial for their hit show The Walking Dead which had 10.9 million viewers even without Dish coverage.

DirecTV. We got he NFL Ticket for free this year because they shut off Nick for 2 weeks. (and because we reminded them of the past 12 years that we have put up w/ price increases and all we got in return was a butt load of shopping channels)
But, hey, we get to watch the Dolphins for free this season. Everything is beautiful.
