The 7-Election Romney Coffee vs. Obama Kool-aide (vanity)
GraceG

Posted on 10/05/2012 8:28:04 AM PDT by GraceG

Ok, so I had some time to kill this morning and I walked into a 7-11 to find a clever promotion for the election season. They have red and blue coffee cups, blue for Obama and red for Romney.

The thought crossed my mind to get an Obama coffee cup and fill it up with Fruit Punch as it would be the "Obama Kool-aide" and then fill the Romney cup up with ice and load it up with decaf coffee loaded with all sorts of cream and flavoring because Romney isn't exactly a regular cup of coffee so it would be a "Romney Latte"

They also had red and blue doughnuts.

They seem to tally the "votes" based off how many cups were taken, suprise on their website Obama is ahead, but this is because there are so many more 7-11 in urban areas than rural areas. I was suprized that it was 60/40 Obama/Romney, I expected more for Obama.

We have two 7-11s left in the area.

I wouldn’t go into either of them without a big dog and a weapon.

They’re a mecca for undesirable characters.

Hm, good description for both candidates.

Nice find.

That is every bit as scientifically accurate as the “polls” put out by the obama psycho-schizo-narcissist-enabling NEW YORK press.

ABCNNBCBS all obama cyanide koolaide drinkers, actually.

Mitt doesn't do coffee.

However, as Hawaiian Punch was the drink of choice for Donnie and Marie Osmond, he COULD ask...

HEY! How'd you like to have a Hawaiian punched?

SURE!

N. Reading MA, the 7-11 had a lot more Obama cups there than Romney cups hence Mitt more popular. Driving through town you will see a lot of
lawn signs for Scott Brown and (Congress candidate) Rich Tisei,
and some for Romney too. Not as many for the Dems.

General Cinema has done similar things in the past (I think they’re called AMC now)...a “straw poll” where you picked your fave candidate’s “straw” with your drink

When Romney WINS, the Dems will want their color BACK.

When Reagan won we R's were BLUE, somehow we got changed to Red.

(don't really know who makes those choices, maybe the media and they determined that BLUE was the winning color)

Alll the news outlets had switched by 2000....one reason given is that Red and REpublican both start with “R”, but I think we all know why the dems and the media pushed the switch. Red has always been associated with the left/Marxists, and still is in the rest of the world.

Yeah, the media picked the “party colour” I think it was changed sometime around 2000 or 1998....

I wouldn't assume that everyone grabs the cups for that purpose or even pays attention to the promo. If someone was just walking up, not paying attention, it is more natural to gravitate to red for something related to food because it is a more appetizing color (the reason you see it in restaurants more than blue). Blue is considered the least appetizing color. The subconscious may be driving people to red cups for other reasons.

I have to inform you of how racist your kool-aid choice for Obama is. I’m sure you didn’t know it, but Black folks LOVE kool aid! So, you’ve just as well have said “watermelon” or “Chicago” or “fried chicken”. Just a little help there, watch the kool aid references around Blacks.

BINGO to both of you. I think you both have the real truth, which is the way I see it as well.

RED is the commie color, (so that is the reason they lost to Reagan!!!!! oh, hahahaha), so give us BLUE it is the winning color. hahahahaha.

They are so kindergartenish, I want that color, teacher make him give me that color. rofl.

Ok, we will play along, after Romney wins in a landslide with the RED map. Let them scream for it back, "whatever".

you know, as much as we are making fun with this. I truly believe the demented Liberal Progressive Democrats think like this.

Their excuses: Someone's else's fault. Racist. It was because of the altitude, etc. etc. etc. nonsense. It is just who they are and they cannot/will not be satisfied.

FAIR ENOUGH. They get first choice. Kinda reminds me of Abraham and Lot. If you take that part, I will go there, if you want that, I will go there. Abraham gave Lot his choice, LOT failed.
