Saudi billionaire did help Obama into Harvard
WND ^ | 9/23/2012 | Jack Cashill

Posted on 09/23/2012 5:15:32 PM PDT by jwsea55

In late March 2008, on a local New York City show called “Inside City Hall,” the venerable African-American entrepreneur and politico, Percy Sutton, told host Dominic Carter how he was asked to help smooth Barack Obama’s admission into Harvard Law School 20 years earlier.

The octogenarian Sutton calmly and lucidly explained that he had been “introduced to [Obama] by a friend.” The friend’s name was Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, and the introduction had taken place about 20 years prior.

Sutton described al-Mansour as “the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men.” The billionaire in question was Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal.

Given, the game-changing nature of this revelation when it surfaced in late August 2008, the Obama camp and its allies in the media, particularly Politico and Media Matters, shifted into overdrive to kill the story. Through a series of denials, lies and slanders about Sutton’s mental health, they succeeded.

From the description above, he wasn’t “just another racist black man”. He’s described as ““the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men.”

How did he get hooked up with Saudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and what kind of advice did he give the prince?

Per oil post... I know, but it isn’t immediately available, now is it?

We have a vast amount of oil and natural gas IN THE GROUND. That isn’t much help if your gas tank is empty.

From what I understand, there is a decent percentage about 4 years out (we just need to remove all the regulatory stuff hampering drilling and production), enough to send oil down appreciably. Within 10 years, there is enough so we are only importing from Canada and Mexico. When Mexico retakes Callipornia, they will probably open up the coastline to drilling. From all I understand, there are probably Saudi type fields off Callipornia.

Actually Bin Laden seems to have been a fringe operator in Afghanistan and elsewhere. One with access to a lot of money but still on the fringes of the real Islamist leadership. Until Ayman al-Zawahiri hooked up with him The good doctor has served as Osama bin Laden’s right-hand man since the death of Muhammed Atef in 2001 but they go back much further reportedly meet in Pakistan in the mid-1980s. Zawahiri from a wealthy and established Egyptian family is highly intelligent and a true believer and hater of the ‘infidels’. What is interesting is that he appears to have deep connections with powerful people in Saudi Arabia. Prince Knief (sp) who was the Saudi ‘interior minister’ was reputedly his sponsor within the royal family. The Saudis are playing a very long game (or more correctly a con) whose goal is to see that pro-Saudi Islamists are in power in all the countries of the middle East that are Arab. AQ at least in part is just one of their stable of stalking horses to both keep the US preoccupied with terrorist strikes and recruit true believers for their proxy forces such as those who are now reestablishing Sunni (not Baathist) control in central Iraq and I am sure in the forces that toppled Col K and now in Syria.
The Saudi project will take a good while and in the end there is even some community of interests between the US and this project as long as the Saudis can be muscled to keep their impetuous lads from trying to bomb US targets.
As to Israel as one Arab noted Israel is far to strong for the Arabs to defeat conventionally, but all Arabs are obliged never to accept Israel's existence and try through war or trickery to find some way to damage and possibly destroy the Jewish state.

Your welcome! I need to clean out my bookmarks, that’s been sitting in there for 2 years! LOL :) I thought it would be useful to show the connection also of Bill Ayers and what that Ayers family mailman recounted about them hosting a black foreign student.

Per the previous post on oil.

Oil prices and supply react to future expectations. The fact that something is going to happen in a couple of years has significant impact on prices today. It doesn't take long for the OPECkers to get into discord and start fighting with themselves. The real goal should be for us to stop exporting hundreds of billions of dollars. (I haven't done the analysis to see how many US dollars end up supporting people that hate us. Since oil is a fungible commodity, importing at all, essentially, funds people who hate us.)

This was media treason for willful failure to vet Obama.
///
true.
...a lot of people i know, are surprised to hear things.
but they are things that were know to FReepers, in 2008.
...and McCain also refused to to say anything “not nice”.
(and oddly, he was Obama’s strongest supported in Libya.
pushing early, for Americans in NATO, bombing Libya heavily for months... and then McCain said the War Powers Act,
wasn’t relevent...)

It is amazing how interconnected these stories are becoming. I had read about this before but now all the suppositions from four and five years ago are having their threads tied together.

Of course, anybody who would believe this stuff would have to be conspiracry nuts. /SARC in caps...

Those old enough may remember Tom Wolfe and Radical Chic & Mau-Mauing the Flak Catchers; that is, the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus psycho spoiled brats. They and their bratty ideological issue today masquerade as fact checkers in government and media but are nothing more than flak chuckers protecting Obama.

He used to be on Greta’s show when she first started at FOX. I remember that he always had a very interesting take on things. He was the first one I thought of when I saw the name Al-Mansour.

al-Mansour disowned Sutton’s story. “I did not have discourse with that man, Sutton” he reportedly told Smith.

Right guy - wrong spelling of name...

He knew where OBL was and the Clintons said, “no thanks.” Then OBL is killed during Bozo’s time and Bozo uses it as a reason for his supporters to vote for him. This is tied together, somehow.

Didn't the protesters in Libya chant 'obama, obama-we are ALL osama!' OVER AND OVER AND OVER?

Wonder what our president owes to the rich prince? Wonder if this is why he bows and grovels before those thugs? Wonder if that is why the secret tapes of obama and kalidi's conversation, captured at a fund raiser in Los Angelos in 2008, are so tightly held by the LA Times which still refuses to release the tape. If Obama had been a republican-he never would have been the nominee first go around.
