Cool. I would expect much more east/west variation. I can’t explain the absence. In Az the winter sun sets in the front yard while summer sun sets deep in the back yard. Wide angle view nor distance from equator (less than Austria) seems to be the answer but.....I know nothing
We may be in for some more analemma (the term is new to me, although I’d seen such photos before) in the near future, should be interesting.
If the pics were at sunrise/set you would have seen the shift depending on your distance from equator. Pics used optimum same time of day to show figure eight.
