You’re right. I assume the taxpayers care, but I assume they don’t know. Or don’t think they can do anything about it.

You’ve got that right. I was under the impression that truly poor parents qualified for some kind of assistance, welfare, AFDC, WIC, etc., that was supposed to provide money for food. They’re giving the kids free breakfast and lunch, and in some areas, dinner, too, so where is the food money that the parents get really going ?
