Apparently Akin will drop out Tuesday.
Too bad some disengage brain when engaging mouth. The dems would have played this like the only record on an old jukebox.
What is the procedure in Mo.? Automatic to next with most votes or State GOP pick or another runoff?
Non Sequitur by backside.
Where is your praise of the many thousands who backed Steelman?
Why was the photo I posted of Sarah Steelman replaced by a photo of Akin ?
Moderator, please remove this entire thread.
If Akin drops out the Missouri GOP is not under any obligation to pick his replacement from either of the other candidates in the primary. They can go with any other Missouri Republican, or they can go with Brunner or Steelman, their hands aren't tied. Anyone know what Alan Keyes is up to these days?
the tea partier/conservatives were split between brunner and steelman thus allowing the establishment candidate to win. Steelman was endorsed rather late by Palin so not as many ppl know about it.
I am hearing ALOT of conflicting opinions on both steelman and brunner by the right, both accusing the other side of lying. One thing that I like about Steelman is that she stopped tax payers money from being used to settle a rape accusation on another gop member
Brunner came in second, and Steelman third. If Akin drops out, Brunner is the most likely replacement.
Yes, the MSM, the Dems and the Pubbie establishment really jumped on this one. Then others who are wetting their pants or just tasting sour grapes because the Sarah Palin endorsed candidate have joined the lynch mob.
. . .especially to minimize such brutality by touting pregnancy rates of horrific cases.
He did no such thing.
She's a liberal - her stupid comments don't count.
What do you know of Akin's positions on the issues? Did you know that he has stated we should eliminate federal agencies like the Dept. of Ed, the Dept of Energy and one other I can't recall right now., right? Neither of the other two candidates have called for such radical cuts in the federal government.
Of the three, Akin is the most fiscally conservative.
Sarah could do a LOT of good now by stepping in quickly and energetically getting this guy to quit and put Steeleman in.
Now there is a good idea!
