Ka-Ching: Team Romney Rakes in $5.5 Million After ObamaCare Upheld

When people say Thursday's Supreme Court ruling was a big win for President Obama, the Romney Campaign must shake their heads just a little bit. Since the ruling, Team Romney has raked in $5.5 million. That money isn't coming from big time donors at fundraisers, but is made up of 55,000 separate donations, with 65 percent of those people donating for the first time.

These numbers come after Romney outraised President Obama in May, spent less and Obama seems to be draining his war chest quickly.

Just one month after the start of the general election campaign, Mr. Obama has seen his financial cushion sliced in half. An $80 million cash-on-hand lead at the end of April was down to $45 million at the end of May, according to new Federal Election Commission filings. Romney did out-raise Obama in May. It was the first time he'd done so.

But Romney and his supporting superPAC also spent about a third of what team Obama spent on television ads, yet did not get drowned out on the airwaves. That's because Crossroads GPS and two other so-called social welfare groups spent $16 million on ads in the swing states, hammering Obama.

Obama also spent more than he took in last month, although he still has a huge advantage over Romney in the money race at this point.

Fighting to keep his job, President Obama spent more money than he raised in May, and ended the month with $109.7 million in cash reserves — a more than 6-to-1 advantage over his Republican rival Mitt Romney, federal reports filed Wednesday show.

If Mr. RomneyCARE was not the (secret) AUTHOR of
ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE, Mr. RomneyCARE would have
received a BILLION dollars and real conservatives’ support.

This money is coming from individuals - the little people - the voters. That's a lot of new TEA party supporters!

Obomacare is nothing but a massive tax increase designed to pay for another massive entitlement program. Obomacare will make the welfare and food stamp programs seem small in comparison.

Obama is the Taxman. Romney probably will not tax us out of existence the same as Obama.

Romney blows with the political winds, we need to make him blow in the “right” direction.

Obama just blows.

The U.S. Supreme Court says the health-care law is constitutional. I wonder what the Founding Fathers would have to say about that? I hope the president and his supporters enjoy their victory lap now that ObamaCare has been upheld.

There’s an old saying, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Now that they’ve gotten their wish, enjoy it because it will cost Obama a second term as president.

The Supreme Court and the president have done what Mitt Romney couldn’t. The court’s decision to uphold the law will galvanize support for Romney and further motivate the already fired-up Republican base to vote against Obama.

Poll after poll has shown a solid majority opposed to the health-care law. Independent voters got Obama elected, and they oppose ObamaCare by a 3-1 margin and were already breaking toward Romney before the ruling.

With a fired-up base behind him, as well as independents, Mitt Romney will be our next president and he has the Supreme Court to thank for it.

I say to the Democrats, enjoy your moment in the sun. It will be short-lived.

Okay, so a majority of the people oppose ObamaCare. That didn't stop it from being passed in the first place. What makes anyone think Romney, who provided the template for ObamaCare, will do anything to repeal it?

The proper campaign symbol for Romney should be a windsock.
