Very recognizable character actor.
He was really good at being a bad guy.
RIP Richard Lynch.
Was he the bad guy (actually awful guy) in Dirty Harry.
R. I. P. former Marine
He really took the advice of Sir Laurence Olivier that, “No part is too small, no check is too large.” But in practice, that it not a bad way to do things. It meant he was always working, seen as a reliable villain who could play just about any role.
Seriously, who else could have been in The Sword and the Sorcerer as an evil king, Invasion U.S.A. as a Russian(?) terrorist, and The Forbidden Dance (and actually dance villainously)?
As Rostov in "Invasion USA" with Chuck Norris
As Baran in "Star Trek: TNG" in episodes "Gambit" parts 1 and 2.
As Noel in "Werewolf" and lampooned by Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Started acting at 32 and appeared in over 100 films? Shows you that it’s never too late.
Was he the badguy in ‘The Seven-Ups’?
RIP.
He was a really good bad guy.
He was a very underrated actor. I liked his work. RIP
Looks like the guy on the Northwestern from Deadliest Catch. Sig.
