My favorite Donna Summer song was On the Radio

I understood that she had become a "born-again chrstian" at some point. Unfortunately, I also read that she was supporting "gay rights." Does not compute.

At any rate, we've lost another icon of the 1970's--the absolute pinnacle of human civilization.

About twenty minutes ago Rush mentioned her passing. He relayed the time he met Gloria and her husband on a plane when she came up to Rush and introduced herself and then proceeded to tell him they were one of us, conservatives......

I don’t think that’s quite right. In fact, some articles can’t help mentioning how she created “controversy” by apparently insulting !$#!@s because God was punishing them with AIDS. She said she was misquoted and apologized (later), in a Christian manner, apparently. She wasn’t apologizing for opposing homos, she was apologizing for hurtful statements regarding deadly diseases. (Again, I’ve only read snippets, so this is a grain of salt.)
