On Hannity's show "Hannity's America," last night I could swear that near the end of his show he asked those on the invited panel "Is this Reagan versus Carter?"
Did anyone watch his show last night and hear this, as he said this pretty fast?
As if Romney is Reagan.
Obama is Carter, but Romney is no Reagan. Romney is a Rinocrat.

And some who simply don't have the ability to see the differences. Oh, I can see the differences. For example, Romney is the most successful liberal governor in history, and Obama is the most successful liberal [alleged] president in history. That's a shade of difference.
So what's your point?

Obama is Carter, but Romney is no Reagan.
Romney may not be Reagan, but Obama is even worse than Carter, and he does not have to win by as much as Reagan did. Romney just have to get one more electoral vote than the wanna be king.

I didn't hear it, so I can't help you. But, have to say, in no way whatsoever is this Reagan versus Carter.
Reagan won by an enormous landslide - Romney will likely lose to Obama, simply because HE IS NOWHERE NEAR REAGAN - in fact he is the polar opposite of Reagan.

I havent seen any pollster (be it Dem, GOP or one ideologically independent) that has projected a landslide for Romney. They all seem to say it is going to be a close election, and that Romney might pick up (take away from Obama) Pennsylvania and Wisconsin/Michigan at best.Democrats in the media (90+%) generally talk up their candidate's chances. If their projections had held up, we would have had a solid block of Democratic presidents in the last 50 years.

Memo to Mitt Romney: You’re no Ronald Reagan.
To: Laissez-faire capitalist
In 1980 it was Reagan vs. Carter vs. Anderson
We have our Carter and Anderson clones and are now awaiting the Reagan candidate to emerge.
To: Do Not Make Fun Of His Ears
Not having heard the program, I would guess he means in terms of landslide, not idealogy.Same here. Romney is not Reagan, but he IS better than our Dear Leader.
Now, as I slip on my flame-retardant undergarments, let me say that the speech Romney gave last night in New Hampshire was downright inspiring. After nearly four years of speeches filled with veiled hints of racism, imperialism, (insert -ism here), it was so nice to hear someone singing the praises of this wonderful country. Say what you will about Romney, he loves America. Barack Hussein Obama despises this country.

I do, the social conservatives pushed Carter over the top and saddled the rest of us with a miserable four years. From all of posts on FR, they might do it again.

This youtube is a “Best of” Reagan in his debates with Carter. A lot (all?) of it is just like today.
“Americans keep getting told that we have an Energy problem. When we only use 1/8 of the coal available to us and 22,000 miners are out of work. When nuclear plants aren’t finished because it takes twice as long to meet the government rules than in Japan or Western Europe. That is not an energy problem - that is a GOVERNMENT problem”
Taxes, government waste, excessive regulations, minimum wages, etc.
