Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Here is my example with WFTD.
Neither Sarah Palin nor her children are diffident. Good for Bristol. I question the reality TV Show shenanigans etc. but i thought this was good.

No pushing at the door please!
Good day.
If you say so.
I’m scheduled to handle on call Saturday.... I still believe my knowledge of all the products is diffident at best, and this will be a long week.
Rick is not diffident about his religious beliefs.
But then again...nobody should have to be, in America.
i DO.
Are you working on your foreign accent?
you’ve got a week to BONE UP ; ) A+++
The Syrian dissidents are by no means diffident...
A+++ exactly.
A+++ sounds good.
It's almost musical when you say it that way.
German investors are hoping that Apple will use some of its mega-billions in cash to declare a diffident.
“Diffident” is what one out of five dentists recommends for their patients who chew gum.
A+++ not many diffident dissidents.
The rest of us prescribe Rock Candy and Sweetened Iced Tea.
A+++ ; ) warum nicht auf Deutsch?
i like theD’s response to you : )
But are there any cognitive dissonant diffident dissidents?
dunno : ) A+++
I’ve been visiting in Florida for the past week, staying with friends in the Ft. Lauderdale area. We’ve now moved on to a vacant condo in Margate, which me brother’s wife inherited. It’s nominally an Over 55 community, but the median age is closer to 80.
I feel so anonymous here, I told Mrs. Truth that it feels like we’re in the Witness Protection Program.
Wednesday, we will head across Alligator Alley to the Gulf Coast, where we will do some more freeloading, first with my wife’s cousin, and then with my long-time racquetball partner.
Folks who always say,”If you’re ever near us, stop by for a visit,” be careful what you wish for.
Ich bin ein Berliner. Ein diffident Berliner. (A jelly donut who is a bit unsure of himself?)
OMG it’s Truthy the Itinerant! LOL! my best friend is down at West Palm beach for spring break with her hub and three twentysomething kids, you could prob bunk there a night if you need to ; )
oh yum, i love jelly donuts!
how’s your bracket doing, Neo? where do you have SU? btw, we are going to the Eastern Regionals up in boston this week, Thurs and hopefully Sat if they advance to the elite 8. I am excited bc i have only been to boston once, and xsteen was a year old, so that was 22 years ago, and it was just for a weekend and it was raining. So i am psyched to see more of the city this weekend, hopefully.
I saw a pharmaceutical commercial this morning. They warned that it could cause drowsiness and that one should use caution when driving or doing other unsafe acts.
#1: Shouldn’t we always use caution when doing unsafe acts?
#2: Shouldn’t we generally avoid doing unsafe acts?
I can’t believe the lawyer’s disclaimer actually makes it seem like unsafe acts are OK as long as you use caution.
perhaps it is made unsafe by the drowsiness. i doubt that such a disclaimer holds them immune to lawsuits. i see your pedant hat is on extra tight this AM ; )
I know that in my business we would never tell anyone to do an unsafe act. You find a way to do it differently and you mitigate against harm.
They should have, at the very least, put a “potentially” in there somewhere.
That article is great
Ok, it has started. There was an article about “The Hunger Games” movie in the paper this weekend. The idiot writer said it was about “the haves vs the have nots”....no mention of how the only “haves” were the government and employees, or those the government chose to give to. No, this idiot wrote an otherwise good article but was too blinded by liberal bias to even realize the government was the problem.
And they thought Atlas Shrugged was about a train company.
it comes out this week, I can’t wait.
I am anxious as well - just saw all of the actors have locked in for the next two, possibly three movies - maybe they will draw it out a bit. Probably depends on the take from book one. Also, Dave, the second part of Atlas Shrugged is in production.
I checked out one of the trailers over the weekend, her acting looks pretty good.
i believe all of it, but it will never come to light, nor be commonly accepted as the truth. never.
i don’t know what to do! we are going to be in Boston this weekend and while i am sure i could see it there, i kind of want to see it with Paula, since we talked about going together when we were reading it. I will be in Boston with three people who did not read the book nor give two dangs about it! xsteen has to stay behind. xsjr is coming with us, and xsboy will drive to Boston from SU if they make it to the Saturday game.
gotto go hang by my ankles RME
the posts on the thread have me dry-heaving though!
Mama always said I was diffident from the other children, and that made me special.
well then you fit into our class perfectly, bc we all ride the short bus to get here ; ) A+++
And did your Meemaw call you Moon Pie?
Sometimes. Mostly she called me “That idiot grandchild”.
Too bad it wasn’t a “hot mess.”
.......family looks very nice, too.
beautiful vice presidential family. i hope. and PLEASE GOD don’t let anyone give me any crap that he’s not a natural born citizen or i’ll have a seizure.
