Just this last week, we saw a squirrel catch a mouse in our back yard, then carry it up to the top of the downspout under the patio eave, and proceed to feast on the mouse. Occasionally the squirrel would spit out a bunch of hair. Eventually the entire mouse was eaten up, and the squirrel gnawed on the spine as though it were a turkey leg. It was an amazing sight to see. I got part of it on video.

I wish my cat would do such quick work on the mice she catches. I always end up cleaning the remains. Disgusting!
