Act of Valor was amazing! Most people we have seen at the theater in ages. When it was over, you could have heard a pin drop.

Since that the real villian behind Islamic terrorism is the Jew according to the movie instead of Islam, we Jews could be put in the position of proving the horrific negative that we are not behind Islamic terrorism.
That the movie blames the Jews or a Jew for this whole mess also shows the cowardice of the movie makers in actually taking on Islamic Jihad. Why should the activist Muslims stop their terrorism if we Jews are going to get the blame for it?
Do the idiot stuntmen turned producers really think that throwing an antisemitic bone to the Islamic world will stop Islamic terrorism? Did Gen. Allen's groveling apology stop U.S. personnel in Afghanistan from being killed?
Two possibilities:

I saw the movie. It exceeded my expectations. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Incredible. Movie! Absolute silence in the threater at the end and my GF and most of the women had tears at the end.
At the conclusion of the movie, one of my first thoughts were...how could such fantastic military people have such a POS commander-in chief. It's not right!
Because of the cowardice in facing Islamic terrorism (Gen. Allen is one example), the Jews are smeared instead -- especially in this movie. Nature abhors a vacum, eh?
This movie is trash. Should I see this movie? As one antisemite (Pat Buchanan) said, "I don't have to lift up a manhole to know there is a cesspool underneath!"

The focus of evil, the guy who really hated America in the movie was a Chechien. There were multitudes of Islamic terrorists being sprayed along with Central American and Mexicans. Frankly, I was having a hard time mentally assigning an ethnicity to the character since his name was “Christo” and he was operating in South America. Is that a common Jewish name?
Me too. I saw a 430 matinee and it was packed. Great friggin movie.
You are nuts. It was one line I the movie the. Interrogator used to humiliate the pofs who was helping the main terrorist.
We just got home about 20 minutes ago from the theatre. Agree, it's an absolutely AMAZING movie.
At the end, most folks sat in silence for 30 seconds or so, not a single person stood while the names of those in the Navy Seals lost since Sept. 11th, 2001 scrolled over the screen.
BTW: I'm pretty much a hard hearted S.O.B. most of the time, I had a really hard time seeing through my own blurry, watery eyes if anyone else had tears in their eyes at the end of the movie .....

Because I truly believe you have an opinion and respect that. I mean we are talking a movie here. I think once it comes out on DVD maybe rent it for a buck (red box) and watch it. I think you will see it is not as bad as the reviewer claims especially. Anyway, have a great weekend.

You ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait till the movie “Thunder Run— The Armored Strike Strike to Capture Baghdad ‘’ comes out(filmed in 3-D) It’s in production now. It’s based on LA Times(of all newspapers) international reporter David Zucchino’s book. I’ve read it. Awesome doesn’t begin to describe it. It follows the exploits of the Spartan Brigade, Second Brigade/ 3rd. Infantry Division(Mechanized). Zucchino’s account is free of any bias or editorializing , in fact for an LA Times reporter he praises the courage, professionalism and fighting skill of our troops. He’s helped in this because he dedicates the book to his father ,’’ First Sergeant Joesph Zucchino(World War 2, Korea,Vietnam), who served with honor’’. Every FReeper should read this book. To give you an idea of the caliber of our troops, the unit motto of the 3rd Mechanized is “Send Me’’. It comes from the book of Isaiah 6;8 “And I heard the voice of the Lord saying “Who will stand for us;whom shall I send?’’ And said I ‘’Here am I; Send Me’’. The f**king punk in The White House might think we aren’t a Christian nation anymore but the men of the 3rd. Mech. sure don’t think so.
