Happy February everyone!

Amy, I always post a new thread (The Porch) on the first of the month & then if my Internet is on (been very squirrely the past 3 months.. off more than on) come visit.

Thinking of Yorkie, settling down in her new temporary home, Dave working through issues of cancer, Rus with his cement mixer business and so many more of you with health, pain and life issues.

God bless your month ahead everyone. The month of love will find you loved by many & sharing the love of God in your life.

I won’t be here much today as I am giving my living room some attention. We never use it much but it still has to be cleaned from time to time....dust just keeps gathering.

Wishing you a fleeting February, at least those of you who are ready for spring. I AM! There are a few really good things about February; three very special men in my life were born this month...and, about mid-month in my neighborhood, all the ornamental fruit trees start turning lovely shades of pink and white. Also, February is wonderfully SHORT. Then there's March. Here's hoping it comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lamb. I am sooooo ready for spring! :-)

My Christmas tree has been up five years in my living room. We never go in there.

My 6YO niece thinks I'm Santa's helper and it has to stay up until she doesn't beieve in Santa.

I love it when all my friends start griping about having to put up their trees.

Every once in a while I plug in the lights for no good reason...other than to enjoy.

74?? I would LOVE for it to get up to the 70’s today, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. I need to get out back and trim my rose bushes before they start growing again. The sun is shining but it’s still just a bit too cold for me.

I sent this picture to my daughter that has bluebirds wintering at her home for years...she has quite a few blue bird boxes and her home is in a deep hardwood woods...she wrote back that she saw the same thing this morning on one of her fense posts.....:O)

I noticed this darling bluebird this morning and am finally getting to answer. They are one of my favorite birds, along with probably 25 more....LOL! Lets just say I love birds a lot.
