Abba has announced plans to release a deluxe edition of its last studio album which will include the first time since 1994 that the Swedish pop music supergroup has released material previously unavailable to the public.
Despite turning down numerous lucrative offers to reunite for a reunion tour, Abba has nevertheless decided to re-release an updated version of The Visitors, the group's final studio album originally released in 1981.
According to Abba's official website, The Visitors Deluxe Edition will include a DVD of archive material as well as bonus tracks, including the previously unreleased demo medley From A Twinkling Star To A Passing Angel.

Released by a request from the Newtster.
Nothing new, though right?
They have not rejoined, iow.
Benny and Bjorn write musicals, though.
“Mama Mia,” “Kristina from Duvelama” etc.
Thank you for the post. I love Abba. I own everything they ever recorded plus videos. Never got to see them perform in concert. :(
Heads up Newt, maybe a new ringtone!!

Be still, my beating heart... it’s a new album! From ABBA!!
Well, okay, it isn’t really a new album. It’s a “deluxe edition” of the band’s last studio album, which, ah, was released in 1981.
But it DOES have a DVD of “archive material.”
And it features a “previously unreleased demo medley” called “From A Twinkling Star To A Passing Angel.” Ooooh, can’t wait for that one. Even if it wasn’t good enough to make the original album.
Remarkably, this marks the first time since 1994 that Abba has mined its old cassette tapes to patch together a new release!
So don’t wait! Order yours today!!!
I like ABBA myself. Here is a parody song of BAAB from a Pinky And The Brain episode. It is the only english one I found.

Two bands that the homosexual community love are Queen and ABBA. The former I can understand why, but the latter, I don’t.
ABBA and B-52’s - sweetest harmonies ever recorded.
Ha! There was a time here when you could have been zotted for that. ;o)
I confess that I’ve purchased the deluxe expanded editions of a number of records/cds already in my collection:
Lucinda Williams’ Car Wheels on a Gravel Road - check
Steve Earle’s Copperhead Road - check
Grateful Dead’s Reckoning - check
ABBA - not so much (of course I didn’t have the original release, either).
Although it doesn’t look like your taste, the Deluxe Expanded Edition of the seminal Rolling Stones “Some Girls” is excellent as well.
I went for the expanded Exile on Mainstreet from the Stones, forgot about that one. Saw they expanded Some Girls as well. Might have to check into that - not a huge stones fan, but fan enough.
