I would say most recognizable for his role in the movie The Final Countdown. (At least for me)

That was an excellent movie! And Farentino was very good in it.

I see he was in “The Girl With The Hungry Eyes.”

One of my favorite Night Gallery eps ever!

The Final Countdown was easily his best movie. It is a great movie all around.

Farentino was one of those actors you always saw on TV during the ‘60s and ‘70s, usually as a guest star.
Definitely one of the most recognizable faces, for me at least.

RIP

I was in Final Countdown. About 3 seconds and you have to know exactly where and when to look.

I remember him as the Argentine dictator Juan Peron in the TV docudrama “Evita” around 1981. Faye Dunaway at forty played Eva Peron which was pretty good since the real Evita died at thirty three.

RIP and a reminder to the rest of us that all life or glory is fleeting.
