Kelly Clarkson: I Like Ron Paul Best
National Review ^ | 12/30/2011

Posted on 01/02/2012 7:42:29 AM PST by SeekAndFind

Via Kelly Clarkson:

I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women’s rights, men’s rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he’s my favorite. . .

Hmmm. You can meet girls like Kelly Clarkson at Ron Paul events?

This, from a loser who voted Democommie in the last election.

Sorry, Kelly. You’re completely irrelevant.

She’s from Texas. Perhaps Paul was her Congress critter when she lived there.

“I support gay rights, straight rights, women’s rights, men’s rights, white/black/purple/orange rights.”

She’s a liberal since she believes in group rights.

She admitted supporting Democrats in 2008, so I suspect so.

She is a typical Hollyweird liberal.

Kelly is a typical relativist. Her type of thinking is a major part of how we have come to this point in the United States.

Sorry Kelly....but you fail to see the big picture.

“She is a typical Hollyweird liberal.”

Her lack of political astuteness leads her down the path of least resistance while at the same time, she’s trapped like a rat in a cage.

She voted for John McCain last time. She is Republican. I would hardly call her irrevelant. She is selling CD’s currently. It is not like she is some person from the 90’s trying to get noticed. I would much rather her support Santorum, but then again, it could be worse, she could be supporting Romney. Now that would seriously be awful. I think like some she likes his stance of getting rid of 5 departments in the government. Nobody else has announced such a bold idea. Go Santorum!!!!

She may have done this to increase sales. I read where her sales went up 191% after announcing this. No sarc.

Did you even read her statement?! She's as much a "republican" as Romney is. She is NO conservative.

Sorry, but if it walks like a duck....

Maybe she understands that if any other candidate is elected in 2012 other than Ron Paul, then our federal deficit will be larger in 2016, our balance of trade deficit will be larger, the federal government will be bigger, the federal government will be more intrusive and we will have fewer individual civil liberties, the American people will be searched more often, the TSA will expand into train stations and elsewhere, we will be at war and bombing at least one other country somewhere in the world, the US dollar will be worth less, taxes will be higher, more people will be on government welfare, there will be more government employees.

Big government and big deficits will be even BIGGER by 2016 if Romney, Gingrich, obama, Perry, is elected in 2012.

Very few people besides this woman understand this.

She says she supports “gay rights” ( glad she did not mention abortion ).

But what does “gay rights” mean?

Gays already have CIVIL RIGHTS just like everyone else.

Is there any other “rights” she is thinking about?

She said “straight rights” too. I think she lumped a lot of groups together. She even said “many different color people”. lol. I wonder why you only chose that one group out of all of them she mentioned.

As every thinking person knows, “gay rights” is just code for homofascism.
