Financial planning: Does anyone know the cost of Hussein's mandatory monthly Obamacare premiums?

Fox News -
Under the law, the benefits package must include such fundamentals as inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, maternity and childhood care, prescription drugs, preventive screenings and labs. It must cover mental health and substance abuse treatment, as well as rehabilitation for physical and cognitive disorders. Such add-ons are often not fully covered by frugal plans that are now the best that many small businesses can afford.

Oh, you're gonna pay. But what? $500 a month per person? $750? $1000?

I've looked everywhere and can't find any prices attached to Hussein's grand scheme. Sure it was a huge document but SOMEONE must've read it by now.

The real kicker is that the companies can’t turn anyone down and there are great restrictions on how much they can vary prices for different factors. This will result in people who need coverage the most buying it and dropping it and paying the lesser penalty when they don’t. Rates for healthy people will skyrocket.

black markets, on which healthcare will have to be acquired, are notoriously opaque.

You can’t afford it if you have to ask.

I’m starting to believe it’s all a big scam........health care was never the objective, the money that has been spent so far has no trail,no accountability
Dumbo and his buddies like Soros, have fleeced America...this so-called “billion dollar” campaign that he’s running will all go to waste (in someone’s pocket). He’ll shrug his shoulders and walk off into the sunset with billions.
SCOTUS will judge it unconstitutional, Rino’s will try to keep some of it and no one will be accountable.

At the moment, the prices are, or will be market based. The simple formula is that the companies may only keep 15 cents out of every dollar.- However, all the unfunded mandates forced on the companies will increase your rates every year. Since its inception, the rates have increased in California at a minimum of 20%.

The simple way to figure your rates is to take the current premium you are paying and add 20% to it every year until 2014. Then the premiums should effective go through the roof, meaning that they will probably double within 3 to 4 years or less.

That is probably a safe guess. Eventually your insurance company will cave in and leave the state you are in and the Federal government will create a single payer system much like Canada.

At that point, you will have expensive, crappy, rationed care. You will have to bribe your doctor to get service, and be prepared to bribe emergency techs to even more so they won’t let you die if you get over 70 years old and have a life threatening condition.

It’ll be fun.

Ha. Ha. Like there would be anything like that. Before I retired, I was trying to find out about Cobra and Hippa. Cobras was easy it had a % limit above the cost of the Group plan.

Hippa. All anyone would say was that it was expensive. Finally Mom got so sick I retired to help take care of her. Cobra cost about $500 for self and spouse. When cobra ran out, they notified me 30 days in advance that similar policy under Hippa would be around $3000, which forced me to go through underwriting in order to get something cheaper.

Obama made deals with Insurance companies to get their support before hand. It appears that Insurance companies not only get new customers through the mandate, I so far have not found too much about cost of policies. There are some price breaks for some low income, but haven't found out much else.

Pardon, but I’m not surprised your question goes unanswered. I doubt nobama himself knows. In fact, IMHO, nobody knows. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

The rate will be what ever it needs to be to further take down the country.

Read this yesterday - As financial crisis drags on, Greeks see a bleak future
"After 34 years of work, I can't get a pension; I need at least four more years of work," Katsikadakos said. "Plus, I have to pay 450 euros every month to the state for health insurance and social security, just because I own a company, even when I have zero income."

Unreal.

I’m self employed and have been rolling the dice with no health insurance whatsoever for the last 5 years. I have no immediate plans to change. I don’t believe obamacare is going to make it out of the supreme court. I don’t believe there will be a compromise. I think it will be struck down entirely.

I heard Lawrence Summers, Obama’s former budget guru whatever explain why Obamacare would save small businesses money. He actually said that small businesses could drop coverage for their workers and simply pay a penalty for not offering insurance. The workers then would be forced onto the health exchanges and what is essentially Medicaid. They would have no other choice. Summers actually touted this as a positive and a cost savings for small businesses.

Obama and his crowd are a wrecking crew destroying everything they can lay their hands on. It beats me how Republicans even if they manage to control the House, the Senate and the White House are going to reverse and uproot this. It’s becoming entrenched.

Hope so.

The individual mandate: Health-care's inherent controversy
How the Supreme Court could punt
Next year's Supreme Court hearing has been billed as judgment day for Obama's Affordable Care Act. But it might end with no judgment at all. Before the justices rule on the individual mandate's constitutionality, they will first have to decide whether the 1867 Anti-Injunction Act bars the claimants' challenge. That law prevents citizens from challenging the legality of a tax before it goes into effect. If the court finds that the penalty for defying the Affordable Care Act's mandate is a tax, they could push a legal challenge back to 2015, when the first fines will be levied. And that, said Simon Lazarus, an expert at the National Senior Citizens Law Center, might "be a good solution for a court that doesn't really care to be Public Issue No. 1 in an election year."

Agreed. And in the end, the United States will become enslaved because of it.

Just think how many nights that poor fellow Obama was talking about last week will have to go without heat. $40.00 on taxes would mean 3 nights every payday without heat. Obamacare is going to make for a long hard winter.
