What an odd and cute couple!
I got her from an ad in the paper. I was about 14/15 and my brother who had just moved back to CO after getting out of the Air Force took me down to the person's house to get her. They named her Sunshine which funny enough is what the pound had named my new cat (we are going to change his to something more manly). Ginger was very soft. She liked to dip her toe into milk cups that had been left around and lick the milk off. I don't think she ever had any serious injuries or health issues until the end. She was just old and probably had kidney failure. She was mom's longest lived cat too.
Very cute. The orangutan cracks me up.
II’m getting older and don’t move so fast any more. I think I need to get an orangatan to exercise my golden Retriever!

Unusual friendship, how oh-so-sweet!
Amusing how the guy was resigned to how the orang’s sharing food with the dog meant that now the preserve has a dog, want one or not.
