The Washington establishment, ever a font of wisdom, has chosen its candidate. Mitt Romneys victory in the Republican primaries, the insiders say, is a fait accompli. They claim hes the most electable, the safe bet. Fine; lets play along for the moment and consider what the Democrats have in store for him in the general election......

Doggone, he can't even get the nomination.
That are counting on the “anybody but Obama” vote.
People pushing that are all over FR..
I won’t vote for mittens.
That is why I went for Newt. I realize that the baggage is large but most of it I think the voters will mostly ignore and his agenda for saving America is the best of all the rest of the candidates. Regardless of the crap on FR I have to go with the Republican voters. Or else King Obama will get another four years.
The anybody but Obama vote is why you see so many vying to replace him.
Everyone knows he’s toast and they are just fighting a war of attrition to weed out challengers and then they will beg to win the lottery.
It’s gonna be a brokered convention.
Anybody can beat Obama so lets go for the gold and nominate a conservative—Cain left so that means Bachman or Santorum.
If you support all that is Romney, why not go all down and vote O.
Or else King Obama will get another four years.
That’s a tough choice. 4 more years of Obama with GOP opposition to hold him in check or 8 years of Newt’s leftist garbage with no opposition. I’d still go with Newt just to stick it to Obama but I’d be looking for living options outside the US.
The media loved McCain until he became the nominee, then he became “Bush-Hitler” to them. I want a candidate that will flip off the Obama worshipping media and go straight to the people.
Romney can't get over 1/5 of the Republican vote ~ he's unelectable. Doggone, he can't even get the nomination. |
I hope you're right! He was averaging around 22, and slowly dropping now to around 19 |
Kerry said, “I was for it before I was against it” on some vote I don’t even remember what, and that flip flop cost him millions of votes, I have no doubt. Can you imagine what the rats would do to Mittens?? There’s so many flip flops they’d turn him into a laughingstock. No, he can’t be the GOP nominee. Electable? Right.
That's a great line right there!
By the way, I've been leaning Santorum since the beginning. The American public won't want to have to listen to Bachman's Fran Drescher laugh for the next four years. (shrug) Shallow, but for real.
