They need a coach?
Paul Wulff has been an absolute disaster. Of course, he inherited an absolute disaster so go figure.

wonder what they paid Leach...
btw- i travel around the nation to watch college football and when i asked someone told me Pullman is easy to find: walk east until you smell it then south until you step in it....
Well it IS an ag school.
We enjoyed him here at Texas Tech. He comes with some heavy luggage. Football will be exciting to watch. I am glad for him. Wish we could have an exciting program once again.
The Washington State players better dump their fat, little girlfriends, pronto!
Perfect fit and conference for his type of offensive style. This will shake up the Pac-10. On any given day, his team can beat anyone in that conference.
Leach was fired the day before he was to receive an $800,000 bonus. Though he may have used poor judgment with the player its obvious the school took the opportunity to fire him before paying what he had earned. He’s a no-nonsense coach, more like a Marine drill instructor so I’ve heard.
One of the things you’re supposed to do in treating someone with a concussion is to place them away from light. A broom closet may not have been a great choice, but that was how his assistants interpreted the coaches instructions to get the kid out of direct light. I have always tended to think Leach was railroaded at Tech. He will certainly create a lot of juicy sports page copy (and a very exciting offense for WSU).
One of the reports (the whole matter is a he said, she said) had the trainers put him in the video room and told him specifically not to go into the closet, then James did on his own and taped it with his camera phone.
Whatever the truth is, Leach was definitely railroaded.
HE was railroaded , IMHO . Notice how Craig James never gets exclusive interviews with the coaches or players anymore ? I hope Coach Leach wins his lawsuit with James and ESPN .
Ditto, The sissy James Gang needs to disappear. Why the dorks at ESPN keep him around is beyond me. What does he add to the dialog? Nada, zilch.
Now Leach, there’s a coach. He’ll get things stirred at Wash State. Look out Ducks, he’s got your number! And oh how I’ll love to see him rip Laneless Kiffin a new one. Roll Tide!
I agree.
The weasel pretty much wreaked the Tech football program.
Washington State is going to become a very fun team to watch. I love Mike Leach’s offensive schemes.
ESPN keeps him around because they are both named in the lawsuit , IMO . It will be interesting to see what they do when his contract is up .
Hmm, as a WSU grad school alum, that wasn’t my experience. Pullman is a nice little town.
Now if you drive down from Pullman to Lewiston/Clarkson, THAT stinks (from the paper factory).
