I'm a little shocked, myself...

Not every family plans to have a baby but they usually have some idea once the baby is on the way. However, a Portland, Ore., woman who went to the hospital thinking her appendix had burst was told by doctors that she was actually going into labor. "I was 39 weeks [pregnant] and didn't have the slightest clue," Kim Nelson told local TV station KGW.
"I thought the weight gain was due to cysts I had in my ovaries and working at Dairy Queen and eating all that food," she said. "I didn't have the slightest idea that this little bundle of joy was in my tummy."
Also, those other bundles of joy delivered to your tummy from the local Dairy Queen generally try to avoid sending customers to the emergency room.
In her defense, Nelson said she did not experience morning sickness throughout her pregnancy and doctors had told her she was infertile after developing those ovarian cysts after her second pregnancy.

Having been pregnant several times, I can say I find this unbelievable. Talk about denial!
I'm a little shocked, myself...
I know a guy whose daughter had the same situation. Normal sized girl, only gained 6 pounds, went to hosp with pains and had a 6 pound baby.
ok...THAT’s not what I would call a “normal sized girl”

That’s mean! Very funny but mean.
I know weird.
I do have a friend who had been married for about 15 years never been pregnant (tried but gave up), was on the chunky side, thought she was going through the change (she was 42) and at a party started having abdominal cramps, her husband took her to emergency where she delivered she healthy little guy.
Her only regret was that she didn’t get to enjoy the pregnancy time getting ready for the fellow.
It might make a difference if you have never been pregnant before and didn’t know what to expect.

Not all people get sick during pregnancy but they do have other signs.
She’s not a “normal-sized girl” because she’s from Porkland!
I never understand how a woman can say she didn’t know. Uh... did you think you had an alien inside of you that was kicking or moving? Plenty of other ways the body changes that I won’t get into... but every woman that has had a baby... knows what I mean.
Everyone who gets pregnant has to get pregnant for the FIRST TIME. I did too as did many others... however, I didn’t know what to expect either but...when things began to happen I KNEW.

She didn’t know she was pregnant. Hell, she didn’t even know she had had sex.

It happened to my wife’s cousin.
She didnt know she was pregnant until it started coming out on the toilet, and her mother-in-law is a RN and saw her almost every day!
When she got the call from the ER that she just had a baby, she thought it was a joke!......
You woulld have thought she’d remembered the artificial insemination she had. Surely, this pregnancy wasn’t started in the ole manual fashion. This broad is guilty and stupid.
About 2 weeks before she was due, my niece’s best friend gave a baby shower for her. The hostess was a tall, thin girl who wore bermuda shorts, and a tucked-in blouse, with a belt and fitted jacket. That night, the hostess thought she was having appendicitis and went to the ER. They said they couldn’t help her as they weren’t equipped for deliveries and sent her to another hospital. Shortly after arriving there, she gave birth to a rather large baby (8-9 lbs. as I remember). She had NO clue and to see her, you wouldn’t either! No one could believe it!
She might have suspected the possiblity, when she felt this little prick......
