You might be a bit late. There was this stuff called “K-2’’ last year but it was taken off the market. You can buy similar stuff at any or most ‘’smoke shops’’, places that sell tabacco and pipes(and the bongs, etc.) Most of it really does nothing at all or maybe a little light-headed feeling at most. DISCLAIMER: Information posted without personal experience of said product.

“Spice” is now illegal but there are plenty of other brands sold as incense or potpourri. They're sold in small foil bags or jars at small grocery stores and smoke shops. Usually there is a subtle pot reference on the packaging. There are no restrictions or controls on what's inside until their contents are banned.

If one does smoke, they should smoke real MJ instead of this stuff. It is not physically addictive, completely non-toxic and has no proven long-term side effects. It has been used for thousands of years.

“Spice” is sprayed with unknown chemicals that could have been discovered last year. There are reports of death and addiction. A few months ago I overheard some kids talking about how they smoke it instead of MJ because of price but it gives them headaches sometimes. Sad

Sailors who are off-duty often find themselves being called to handle an emergency.

What the hell is he talking about? An off-duty emergency?

For a sailor, an off-duty emergency might be, e.g., the ship sinking.

Regards,

While it was still legal, all we could do to military who used it was slam them for disobeying a lawful order.

I rememeber hearing stories from fellow Marines about North Vietnam fighters who, especially during Tet, would drug themselves up, tie tourniquets around all their limbs, and then charge over Constantine wire with AKs. They would get shot multiple times and keep coming. One scared lance on watch one night woke up his sergeant who then proceeded to stop a drugged up guerrilla by blowing him to pieces with an M203 (M16 w/ grenade launcher).

What the hell is he talking about? An off-duty emergency? Getting a zipper stuck or avoiding a rabid prostitute with a Balisong (Butterfly) knife are about the only off-duty emergencies I ever saw any sailors handling.

Off duty does not equal off the ship. Incoming missiles/gunboats, fuel-oil leaks, shipboard fires, man-overboard, .... just a few of the fun evolutions that can occur at ANY time.

The two of you have no sense of humor.
And FYI, heath, I was Navy as well. The butterfly knife joke should have been your clue.

One of the many ways in which drug criminalization does more harm than good.
