I think the concentration of wealth in relatively few hands is far more likely under fascism (or, if you prefer, "crony capitalism") -- or any other kind of collectivism for that matter -- in which politicians grant and protect monopolies and/or mafias.There is no other system. One under which such things do not occur is an ideal only, never to be realized.

Some theologians believe that Paul's travels to other countries was to both spread the gospel, and to raise money for the Christians back in Israel that were going broke under their collectivism.
Paul supported himself with his tent-making, and refused offerings in the town that he was in. (It was customary for preachers and philosophers to “charge” the towns they were in to be able to make a living at it.) He did thankfully accept (while reminding the givers that he did not NEED it) donations when he was off in another city spreading the word.
