She’s actually an amazing actress. I cannot believe how she becomes the characters. It is really incredible. I mean when you think that she literally became Margaret Thatcher that is saying something. She literally became Julia Childs.
One person’s “amazing” is another’s “worst ever” I suppose. Maybe when you look at someone’s acting, you look for ACTING. I prefer someone to not point out with every calculated gesture he/she is ACTING.

Agree on Streep. I think she’s one of the best. To me the single most overrated Hollywood personality is Jennifer Anniston. Every time I see one of her movies, I go, “How in the WORLD did she ever get major film contracts?”
