Has the rise of Herman Cain caused President Obama to change course recently?

Has the rise of Herman Cain caused President Obama to change course recently:

1)This earlier week President Obama quietly hosted a group of Black Officials and Business Owners at the White House to come up with ideas on how to bring down Black Unemployment Numbers. This change of course comes two months after Obama publicly stated that Black Voter need to stop complaining and start marching as well as restated his position that he is not just concerned with Black Unemployment, but unemployment as a whole.

2)Also this week, President Obama launched into his usual scare tactics before Hispanic voters, boasting that if they think things are tough now, then wait until the GOP is in charge. This statement comes less than 3 months after Obama public stated that he could not get his immigration reform through the Congress over the objections of those in the Republican Party and some in his own party.

3)Now comes word that the White House is sending Michelle Obama out to be a Grand Marshall at a upcoming NASCAR Race, but wait we have been told in the past that NASCAR Fans are more than likely a bunch of ill-informed Racist Rednecks, who more than likely belong to the Tea Party and now Michelle Obama is sent out to appeal to them!

Absolutely.

Cain as the nominee would prevent Obama from being able to take the black vote for granted, as they typically do.

He’s terrified of Cain. Hence the accusations.

Good observations. Followers of this vermin are so self-destructive. Unfortunately, we all get what THEY deserve!

Gotta admit, that NASCAR bit surprised me. The fans should be asking themselves, “Why now?”.

Why YES it has. He has unleashed David Axelrod and the full weight of his Chicago Machine smear team.

It’s obvious to anyone familiar with Obama’s past electoral campaigns. Clearing `em from the field by smearig `em in the press.

Absolutely. Just like Ross Perot’s candidacy forced everyone to address the debt and deficit. These were taboo topics in politics at the time.

NASCAR fans who are conservative need to ask for refund for their tickets based on the fact they are not interested in political theater.

Do it, if you do not, you are no conservative.

I had to cut support for the Colts this year, for obvious reasons. Not because they are losing, but because why they are losing.

Enough is enough.

You can bet it is. He knows that if he is up against Cain then a lot of the racist BS he would use agains white republicans would be null and void. In addition, Cain is a real conservative who won’t roll over to false charges and will speak out and fight agressively for the Consitution and the Republic.

It’s time to Cain obama.

If Herman starts to win in the first 4 or 5 primary votes, the amount of crap that will come out will make the Penn State problems look like a Sunday School picnic.

Cain is obama's worst nightmare, because Herman came from hard working parents, put himself through school, worked hard and succeeded, attends a Christian Church and loves his God, loves his family, loves his Country, survived stage 4 cancer, has a sense of humor, admits when he makes a mistake, and I'm proud to keep sending him dollars and prayers.

I saw Herman at a TEA party last year, and he captured the crowd, but what do I know, I'm just a racist bigot that only likes Herman because he knows his place...

...Sorry, but for me, it's not that difficult to separate going to watch a race from the fact that there is the presence of something I don't like? In this case it's easy, I don't like either...

"Cain as the nominee would prevent Obama from being able to take the black vote for granted, as they typically do."

I think Herman Cain is already getting the eye of some black voters. I saw a video of a young black obama voter who sounded like he hates republicans but he also didn't like what was going on with the media trashing Mr. Cain at all. It's got him to thinking. And other's who posted to his youtube video didn't like what's going on either.

Plus Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece, Dr. Alverda King was on Hannity speaking out for Mr. Cain. And she is also in the video with him in Detroit. So I think the drip, drip, drip away from obama has started. Once anyone black or white stops long enough to listen to Mr. Cain, you can't help but like him.

Well, unfortunately liberals see everything as hispanic, black, gay, women, old, young, rich, poor, etc., rather than Americans. Wait, maybe if we pander to black groups, maybe if we scare the elderly, maybe if we threaten rich people we will be successful!!!

Herman Cain is not popular because he is black. He is popular because he is awesome, but they will NEVER get it.

It is the message, not the category into which the messenger falls.

I can't decide who would be more disgusted by her being there; NASCAR fans having to listen to the Giant Angry Harpy, or the Giant Angry Harpy at having to pretend civility toward the unwashed, gun totin, Bible lovin hillbillies.

I do NOT know what I would do if she made a PR appearance somewhere and I was there. I wouldn't be polite, I do know that. To borrow a line from her, for the first time in my life I am ashamed of our First Lady.

I think you are absolutely correct. I believe that if it looks like Herman Cain will be the republican nominee, the democrats will move heaven and earth to get Obama out of there and Hillary in his place.

Obama and the dems had planned to go after any of the other candidates using race and class tactics. If Cain is the nominee, that approach will not work.

Then, they may try to say he is a misogynist and have Hillary run against him.

Is this one of those, “There’s only going to be ONE Black dude in the 2012 election, and it’s going to be ME!” moments?
