I am now in a serious dilemma.
Of course, there are no extraterrestrials.
However...
Anything coming out of THIS White House is a damned lie.
So either we have the broken clock theory at work ("even a broken clock is right twice a day")
Or
I'd better start contributing to SETI.
Hmmmmmmm...
Decisions...decisions...

I tend to believe them. Not that I think that there ISN’T other life out there somewhere, but I just don’t think anyone during our lifetimes, or several generations removed from us will ever see it. The Universe is just too dammed big, and we don’t live long enough.

the U.S. government has no evidence that life exists outside the DNC Elite, or that an intelligent person runs the government. /MegaSarc

The White House made the unusual declaration in response to a feature on its website that allows people to submit petitions that administration officials must respond to if enough people sign on. Yeah.....sure. You can bet they get a lot more serious inquiries than that and ignore them.

They better be careful or Dennis Kucinich might defect or primary him.

It’s sort of the 21st Century version of the Condon Report (late 1960’s) which made similar claims.

I’ll believe in extraterrestrials when the evidence becomes irrefutable, e.g., one of them accusing Herman Cain of sexual harrassment.

Odd, the bible mentions extraterrestrials from cover to cover.

An alien, a Muslim and a socialist walk into a bar.
What does the bartender say?
“What will you have, Mr. President.” ;)

When they poll people about this usually somewhere close to 50% of the people say they believe that ET's have visited and the government is hiding that from us.
What that tells me is, not that ET's have visited us, but that there is very little trust in the government.
