here in So Cal, located right between the coast and the inland deserts, we are forecast to get down to 38 Saturday morning. That is way too cold for us Kalifornian wimps. My....that is cold for that region. I'm from SoCal, and can appreciate that.

Here in La Quinta, it was low 50’s this morning but just east in Thermal it was 37.....they’re quite a bit below sea level and the coolness ‘drains’ downward.

That temp is at an elevation of about 900 feet above sea level. The forecast has now changed to 42 F Saturday morning. Still too early for that temp. We usually get that low occasionally in December-February.
