Dear RedState.com (cross-posted),
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ryan Larsen. Im a truth lover, chess player and avid political junkie. I co-founded....
OK, here is the point where the mods step in... Originally this Pro-Romney troll went on for about twenty thousand words about how wonderful Romney is and how everyone else sucks. You get the picture. He wrote it to our friends at RedState but posted it here. I take it, probably because he met the same fate there as he just did here. We the mods will save you from all that boredom and just allow you to point and laugh. Carry on.
Morning! It looks like it will be in the 60s later, here. We’re going to a cookout with the homeschool association.
Still awake? My dog wakes me up usually. Today I woke him up.
Do you ever find time to rest??? Hehehe!
That kitteh looks like my little Oddball, with the broken tail. He was such a stupid kitty he was endearing. He must have been the runt. But he was very sweet.
It was 39 when I got up this morning. (Back home a few hours later...) We had snow all around us, which I expected, and more on the way. It is overcast right now, and I’m glad I’m warm.
But The Stig misses the big window, for sure, but he is doing well. And he IS company!
It looks like I may have to give up my TV, and just have internet for a while. Things are not going well for me right now. Maybe tomorrow, I can get the cable box to the cable company, and just listen to music.
And THAT, I have plenty of!!!
Anyway, cold and ugly though it is outside, The Stig and I are toasty in here!
You can watch DVDs on the laptop - probably.
I saw a sticker on a car this afternoon that said, “I am The Stig.” I guess it’s a Meme ;-).
Time to wake Frank up for an exciting excursion!
MF sorry to hear that. We had to cut back and more is on the way. At some point no more internet for me. Been able to hold it off for now.
I am happy to hear Stig is doing well. I just came back from a walk with my dog. Yesterday I could hear the creeks, today nothing but silence. Unless it warms up will not hear them until June.
“The Stig” is an actual race car driver who shows up on the BBCA show, “Top Gear.” I forget his real name, but it was only recently revealed who he really was. The rest of the time, he was dressed in a white fire suit, white helmet with a dark eye shade, white fire gloves and white fire boots.
I will ask the Busdaddy what The Stig’s real name is, since I seem to forget so much...
The Stig (mine) likes his new stuff. He DOESN’T like the weather! He would much rather sleep!
I can watch movies on the laptop, but I can also watch them on TV, since I have this awesome home theater system. I have been putting off the LOTR Trilogy, but I suspect there are a lot of movies in my collection that I will be dragging out and watching, once the TV is no longer functioning as a TV. It will be just a smaller movie screen.
And where are we going on this “exciting excursion???”
Thanks! (And it’s just ‘Face, if you don’t mind. MF sounds so...so................just ‘Face, please!)
We lived on an island in Alaska, and there was a small creek behind the neighbor’s house that led to a muskeg bog. In the spring, the stream was beautiful, but in the winter, we couldn’t even find it.
Opps.....sorry ‘Face. Will do! Could you fish out of that creek?
Opps=Oops!
No, it was just a “trickle” behind the house, and we weren’t that far from the channel. You could walk about a block and fish from the bridge that went to Juneau, but that’s a whole ‘nother story.
The Gastineau Channel “back then” was pristine, so it was no big deal to fish off the bridge or the piers.
I don’t corekt speling mistrakes. If I did, I’da been run off the Unded Thred long ago...
;o]
;o].............LOL! What color is Stig?
We went up the road about 8 miles and turned left ;-).
Now most of us are home. Bill was to drive himself and Tom to church from the location, and I assume they made it because the cops haven’t called.
See, it wasn't so far back in the posting history. Only five and a half years. A mere afternoon's perusal, unless you tend to get distracted.
Unless you get distracted ...
Sounds like “There Goes a Direct Object” is over, so I can put some byos to bed. Tomorrow we have to take Jake to the vet for vetting.
I’ve learned that transparent package-sealing tape is a useful addition to one’s tool-kit.
When NicknamedSue backed into an obstacle and damaged the taillight lens, I used such tape to re-assemble the fragmented pieces of red plastic.
The make-shift repair lasted for four months, until we finally got the body work done.
Excellent!
