I need to install a video accelerator for Vista PC. There are so many free ones available, wonder if anyone has a preference? Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
or new video card
What is your processor speed ? Do you have laptop system ?
What’s a video accelerator? Do you mean a video card? I know of no free video cards.
Can you give some examples of what you’re talking about?
Could you tell us what it is you seek to do? What is this for? Games, videos, Youtube, etc?
Are you logged in?
I had to remove mine because pages were popping up before I clicked the button. I said like Whoh Partner!!.
They're for caching streaming videos so they don't start and stop multiple times.
On DSL?
Just download and watch them when you want. That’s what I do.
I use Orbit Downloader and VLC: simple, easy and convenient.
It’s called Windows 7.
I wouldn’t bother with a software accelerator, I would just get a video card to meet your needs.

Vista? Why? Vista? Really? Why?
We get an error message stating HIFI can't find the server. We have to use an alternate link because HIFI thinks we're behind a corporate firewall.
Using the alternate link, the video stalls, freezes, and goes black. In the process of failing, our PC processor sounds like it's working hard.
We have no problem with Windows format, or even Limbaugh's new fancy ditto cam video.
Vista? Why? Vista? Really? Why?
Because we’re growing old together. OK?
Does anyone make an accelerator for Macs?
Ask Swordmaker. He’s the resident Mac expert. :)
read for later
