This is the most important election for the simple reason,

I agree with you on every word except this.....I joined in August 2005 and I have heard 2006, 2008, 2010, and now 2012 as the most important election of our lifetime. I just find that statement so over the top and since it is used every election, it means nothing.

Well if you are registered on FR I will assume that you can read, do simple math and realize that it is a mathematical certainty that we will go bankrupt if we stay on the same spending spree that we are on. Should you think that the President of the US has no influence over the matter, then this election means nothing so please feel free to disregard my comment.
