That guy looks like the alien from the original Star Trek episode titled: “Menagerie”.

Or the cartoon character “Mega Mind”.

Indeed, Mowowie has provided an excellent photo of his Dad in post #21  ;-)

Beneath the spreading chestnut tree
The village idiot sat
Amusing himself by abusing himself
And ****ing in his hat

In the last “hat” photo, the woman on the left with the fur (I’m just not hip on royalty ID.) She has a beautiful face, but that hand looks like it belongs to someone else - a very “mannish” someone else.

I think I met that girl in Haight-Ashbury around 1968.

She was dancing to beat of a different drum

And tried to run

Every time I made eyes at her.

Reminds me of the ELP album “Brain Salad Surgery”.

It is understood that Read has recently been hiring himself out to stag parties, offering to be handcuffed to the stag while dressed as a diminutive fictional character such as a Smurf or Oompa-Loompa.

Nice gig, if you can get it. By the way, if you have an actual stag at your "stag party," you're doing it wrong...

Hmmm, as a Black Hawks fan I've heard of the "hat trick", but never a "hat sex act".

Does it involve a puck?

Considering the impressive volume of information kindly supplied by FReepers on many of the myriad facets of this entire issue, I am refusing to rule out any possibilities as to what may or may not be involved here.
Prior to this ‘event’, if someone had asked me if I thought it would be highly likely that a juggler’s hat would be involved with a midget’s public sex crime on a train, I would have dismissed it as being not likely at all. But here we have it. And we also have a midget who will, for a fee, handcuff himself to a stag. This all goes to show that pretty much anything can happen in such a circumstance and so I’d say yes, by all means a puck might be involved, as well as an entire hockey team with all of their equipment.
Sex crimes can be perpetrated in nearly unlimited ways, but until we have more solid information on this situation I’m going to walk the other way if a midget in a juggler’s hat approaches me, with or without a puck.

The photo appears to be well-posed with nice composition and so my guess is that Laz was the photographer.

His perpetually-positive attitude of enthusiastically hitting any variety of.....ummm.......people....leads me to believe that he might also be a fine photographer who values proper artistic composition.

I have no idea why I find a relationship between those concepts other than it simply seems plausible.

I'm delighted that you liked it....I was surprised to find it expressed that way in The Telegraph.  I would have expected such a memorable turn of phrase from The UK Sun, whose headline was terribly uninspired by comparison and was rather a disappointment:

Star Wars Ewok 'touched himself'
