Dad, what happens if I just drop my drawers with no underwear on when I go to fly tomorrow?

My son was serious. They want to see if I have an ecplosive. I am not shy. Drop drawers, show stuff and it is over.

Rent him a car or find a good bail bondsman...

Choose his fights better...IMO.

Weenie waggin a TSA toadie wouldn’t do as much damage to TSA’s bullshit as would your son complaining of personal injury etc during an after the fact.

Play the TSA’s game better than they do.

Sympathy from the onlookers due a injury delt by a TSA agent will always play better than outrage from same witness’s an their small children eyeballin yer sons junk ....

My opinion....

unfricking believable. I did 3 tours in the Canadian army, and we were never harassed like that. We went through our version of BAF when we left, and that was it. I can’t believe these guys, they treat you like the enemy...maybe because you are, they fear with returning soldiers who love their country... their chances of a takeover are slimming down.

You will politely be told to stay where you are. Where you can not see the examination.

Not while I'm still alive, they won't.

-- She said, rather loudly, "No, that's ok, I'm a nudist" --

LOL. That is GREAT.

Well I didn’t ask, it was whoever wrote that story, but thanks for answering.

The American government has always been rather reactionary and paranoid. Maybe it comes from our revolutionary roots, maybe it's because so many of us are armed or maybe it's because our system allows a certain amount of freedom even in government and government is a natural attractant to control freaks. Or it could be a combination of those things. It's sort of an American tradition to go all out too and even when it's a bad idea we're not going to do it halfway.

The TSA agents probably imagine that some McGyver can use a pair of nail clippers to reroute control of the aircraft's guidance system from their seat. At the same time it never occurs to them that a rifle or a machine gun would make one heck of a dandy steel club.

I asked a friend who works for the TSA as an inspector and this is what he said:
Ignore it and continue with the screening process. That would only happen in a private screening setting any way. If someone does that in a public screening area perhaps the airport police would be called

Now I’ve asked why would the police be called, because if they ask for the pants to be dropped, it seems that is on them, not on the victim, er, traveler.

And he said they don’t tell people to drop their pants

Sort of half on/half off topic — but after we win in 2012, can Sarah disband the TSA?

I certainly hope it is. I would love to see every last one of those drooling perverted morons FIRED and sent packing in a single day.

Airport Security should be an airport responsibility. Let the locals handle it.
