Have fun! Hope all goes as planned!
We did get to see the last Discovery launch, but can’t make it over there for this launch tomorrow.

Hope you get pictures of the launch and the swamp! If you get a chance look at this awesome 360 - 720 view of the flight deck of a shuttle space craft.
Watch out! It is a dizzying - kind of like weightlessness. Oh and Don't touch any switches or knobs!

Wave goodbye to our space program when you are there. The Putz needs the money for more union bribes.

If you see a group of kayaks watching the launch ... a number of people there are friends/acquaintances of mine.
Hope the weather is good and that there are no more lightening strikes in the area.

Sad to see the program end. I was present to see the launch of STS-1.

As a kid I remember seeing the first space shuttle on the ground in California, prior to any launches. My dad’s friend worked at Rockwell and got us all some passes to an event where the shuttle was parked and cordoned off by nothing more than a few ropes, like something you’d see in a movie theater line at the snack bar. I remember being a bit disappointed that I couldn’t climb up inside the thing and ‘play’ and see what the interior looked like.
