THIS terrifying tree is one that children are certain to leave alone.
With its haunting beady eyes, twisted snout and crooked teeth the shrub has been dubbed the scariest in the country.
The un-fir-gettable 70ft beech was spotted by David Garnham in the grounds of Stowlangtoft Hall in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Good skills there, Freeper. This ain't exactly been a banner day for you and HTML, has it, Windflier? :-) :-) :-)
And again...happy one-day-past your birthday! Another day older and wiser (and 24 hours closer to a Conservative landslide in 2012).

Almost as scary as Obama winning a second term or a first term for that matter.

I could have easily copied and pasted the photo in, if I'd stopped for a moment, and remembered to check the page source. This time, it's just a case of sleepy head ;-)
Ya gotta admit that this thread's working out better than the TX vs CA thing, though. LOL

LOL!
My crazy dad bought some of those goofy stick-on-bark-like eyes/nose/lips things and put them on an oak tree beside his cabin a couple years back.
I went up on one of my usual aimless woods-wandering trips and nearly peed myself when I glanced over at the tree...:D
And then, I totally hoisted myself on my own petard, last week.
Odin and I went for a walk up there and I was hyper-vigilant for snakes the whole way since it was a hot day..and totally forgot I’d given him a VERY realistic resin rattlesnake for Father’s Day last year.
I was about to put my foot on the porch step when I looked down to see Odin sniffing what appeared to be a very angry, poised to strike rattler half-hidden under the steps....and screamed like a girl.
;-D
[not that I’ll admit that to him, though...10 years ago I put an extremely large, incredibly realistic alligator on the bank of his catfish pond and scared the snot outta him. karma’s a rip]
