Please forgive my lack of computer skills but I really need to get this out. I live and work east of El Paso and under the national radar the cartels are spending their money bigtime. Tornillo/Gadalupe is a project to build the biggest port of entry in the US.
On the Mexican side of the Rio Grande the cartels have taken over everything.El Porvenir and up the river The Bravest Woman in Mexico The cartels have literally run these people out of their homes. -- WHY?
The largest port of entry in US History
I've tried to get the story on this but it's like a stone wall.
“Please forgive my lack of computer skills”
Really?
Most regulars here couldn’t pull off three successful hotlinks in the same opening thread, as you have.
So, what’s your real game?
Why?
Perhaps I’m wrong but it sounds like the Trans Texas Corridor and the attempt to speed along the joining of Mexico, the US and Canada into the North American Union through the NAFTA superhighway. Some people wanted to develop a huge port in Mexico and transport goods through the middle of the US.
This might be helpful. Read the Corridor and criticism sections here:

A search on Trans Texas Corridor might help you as well.
Tornillo is “screw” in Spanish, right. I’ve been in Tornillo Creek in the Big Bend, I can see why they call it that I guess. It does twist around a bunch sorta like a screw.
What’s the “screw” in Tornillo, TX? Is it for the tree, or what? I’ve been down that way a couple of times, sorta know where this town is. Not that far south of the green stamp, right on the river.
If this happens it is a prime spot to funnel a bunch of people and stuff north fo sho. There’s already crossings in El Paso and down the river at Presidio, why another one?
I question the join date. Saturday? REALLY?
My spidey sense is going off for some reason.
Yep.
Awaiting some sort of response from our new ‘FRiend’....
Maybe you should post this news article and then tell us something about it that you have personally witnessed.
With all the violence south of the border, it doesn't sound like a very good idea to me.
Heh Heh. Yes I did but it took so long to figure it out I lost my train of thought on the post.
The official reason for T/G is to funnel all commercial traffic out of Juarez. The cartels have destroyed these villages and forced all the residents out and both governments have literally turned a “blind eye” to what is happening.
It’s a smugglers dream. They will control everything that comes and goes through that bridge.
