IMO, I believe it would be a FAR better investment for young adults to have ALL of their teeth removed, and get implants. Unlike dentures, I hear they are every bit as good as the real thing, and they last forever. Over the long term, I believe one would save money, and you would not have to worry with a tooth going bad on ya at the worst of times and everything else regarding bad things dental. Also eliminates time spent making appointments and sitting in a dentist's chair(torture device).
Torture is right, KoRn. Doubly so in this woman’s case. BUT, even knowing how painful some things can be, I still have to giggle a bit at picturing the whole scene.
Some stuff just can’t be made up.
Its funny you said that, ive always said the same thing about implants, but never met anyone else that agreed with me...lol
Everyone can afford implants. Approximately $2,000.00 per implant times 28 teeth, excluding third molars, you have $56,000.00. Oh yes, then you have to crown the implants at approximately $1000.00 per crown and you have a grand total of $84,000.00. Maybe Obamacare will cover the cost.
Implants are 3-4 THOUSAND per tooth plus extraction and bone grafts if necessary. Not counting wisdom teeth people have 28 teeth, are you sure your math is correct?
Who says every young adult is going to need dentures? I’ve never had so much as a cavity. Your solution might work for someone with bad genes for dental health and/or who doesn’t take good care of their teeth, though. I guess there’s a reason dentists are one of the most hated professions in America, right up there with lawyers.
I take it that you’ve never had an implant, nor paid for one.
