Everyone can afford implants. Approximately $2,000.00 per implant times 28 teeth, excluding third molars, you have $56,000.00. Oh yes, then you have to crown the implants at approximately $1000.00 per crown and you have a grand total of $84,000.00. Maybe Obamacare will cover the cost.

Most insurance plans do not cover implants, and only cover a portion of the crown. Most insurance plans have a yearly limit of $2,000 or less for coverage. Having all your teeth replaced with implants is not going to make life easier for you than keeping your natural teeth. You still need to go to the dentist for exams and to have your implants cleaned. You still have to brush and floss and have meticulous oral hygiene. You can still get gum disease and bone loss around an implant, just like your regular teeth. Implants are great in certain situations, like congenitally missing teeth...but they’re not something you want to get if you’re just too lazy to take care of your natural teeth.
