Last year 2 of my now departed neighbors pits came down to our farm. I didn’t know it at the time but they killed one lamb, our female Great Pyrenees went after them. In the battle that ensued my girl got her muzzle cut some but our big male Pyrenees came and joined the battle. This is one big dog not to be messed with, he(Weighed in by our vet last week at 202lbs, all muscle) He snatched up one of the pits by the hind leg and literally tore the leg off. The other pit took off. My wife found the lamb a short while later but saw the whole fight. I hate these dogs to no end.

I love Great Pyrenees! Wish I could have one. I saw a dog out in Nevada, it was a Pyrenees, Yellow Lab cross. As big as a Pyrenees but it looked just like a Yellow Lab. I really though my eyes were playing tricks on me. The owner lived in a trailer, which made the dog look even bigger because of the small space.

But I thought nothing could withstand a pit bull attack. I thought they were endowed with super powers.
