In a statement, the sheriff's office criticized those questioning the team, saying, 'It is unacceptable and irresponsible to couch those questions with implications of secrecy and a coverup, not to mention questioning the legality of actions that could not have been taken without the approval of an impartial judge'. Huh? Questioning the actions of LEOs when someone is killed is unacceptable if couched in implications of secrecy & coverup? That's not part of the press and citizen's right and duty to make sure our peace officers are indeed that?

....not to mention questioning the legality of actions that could not have been taken without the approval of an impartial judge'. Oh, sure. I am just sure the judge took a hard look with a skeptical eye toward the LEOs and a default position against signing the warrant for a SWAT raid. Aren't you?
