Believe it or not, it comes close.
There is a whole “not on the menu”-speik (such as “triple triple,” “animal style,” etc.) and the fact it has always been family owned, doesn’t publish its financials, hasn’t changed their “official” menu darn near since inception, won’t franchise, insists on fresh ingredients, exposes the making to the eyes of the public, etc. makes it pretty close.
My little brother moved to TN and when he is back in town (Los Angeles) he plans his entire visit around In-N-Out.
Well, alright. I suppose that some folks can become obsessed with anything. I just always thought they made a decent hamburger .. LOL
When my brother flew back to California for Mom’s funeral, he actually timed his flight so that he’d be able to stop at In-N-Out before closing on his drive from LAX out here to the desert.
