Well, having recruited a couple engineers I now need help in getting permission to go and help out, plus if anyone knows of any inexpensive inns in Japan, it would be a great help.
All help welcome!
Wow. What are you going to do?
What do you need? I and the other Tokyo FReepers, and our friends volunteering for food delivery, body bag returns, and general welfare for those affected should certainly be able to help out. Just give us a shout and let us know your plans and what you are looking for.
Ping to post above I think was meant for you
Have you talked with TEPCO? Seriously, if you offer something that they need, they’ll be able to arrange logistic support, just as they would for any other contractor.
Are you trying to recruit those “$5,000/hr” clean-up crew members? Nice cut for you.
You are very kind, but I can assure you the Japanese don’t want any gaijin anywhere near their nuke plants.
Human workers have not been allowed inside the reactor buildings much. They are using American built robots though.

They are going to build a new external cooling system for reactors 1 and 3. Reactor 2 is going to be patched somehow. They now have a 6 to 9 month plan to contain the situation.

They could probably use engineering help with the external cooling systems and the reactor patch.

If the Japanese don’t want the help, they can rot it all.
I just contacted them a coupd hours ago before a nap. Thanks for the suggestion I never would have thought of it. :)
Basically just send in the team. I am only going to recruit and find the needed help and then work with someone to get them in.
I think you and I are going to become best friends:)
I see. To do what?
Its becoming obvious that you are not serious nor do you have the knowledge or resources to be of any assistance in nuclear accident clean-up.
