The birth certificate is going mainstream....
Of course I like Trump for bringing up the Obama birth certificate
“Nothing interview.”
It’s part 1 of 3 over the next couple of nights. The entire interview will be on BOR’s website this weekend. Tomorrow night will be what DT says he’ll do (about Iraq among other things) if he gets elected.
With that hair?
I remain convinced this is about capitalism and bringing down those seeking to destroy it. I doubt Trump seriously considers himself a viable candidate.
I don’t have to trust Trump. Hell, I don’t even have to like him. If this is the way he has chosen to bring down the man child, even if it is for H. Clinton, I say go for it.
Also, when this happens, the death tax is abolished, so the 14.25% tax is actually the present value of the death tax payment. To a wealthy person, paying 14.25% now beats having your estate pay a bigger number later because the cash generation can occur in a planned way and the wealthy person is in charge of making the payment in an orderly fashion.
We do need someone gutsy preferably on behalf of America and not against - like we have now.
I never wrote that, you're quoting someone else's post.
Did he say that or are you assuming that?
Anyone that actually thinks this issue will ever see the light of day is smoking crack. Look at the lengths these misccreants go in covering up infedelity.
These idiots would be looking at treason if this stuff is ever proven...IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!
The main reason it will never happen is we still vote for a party and the establishment is ALL IN on this issue.
My cat could beat Kucinich in the general.
One more time. My God, this is becoming ponderous.
It doesn’t MATTER whether Trump really, truly, in the deepest part of his heart, cares about the BC.
And, WHO CARES if he only loves $$$??
I do believe the man has some worthy opinions but HE WILL NOT RUN FOR POTUS.
However, the great thing is, he is promoting unprecedented attention on the birth certificate issue.
This ongoing dialog is fantastic.
For God’s sake man, can you not think strategically?
And Rove is just a complete @$$hole.
ML/NJ
Say what? I don’t think I posted to you.
You must really love Romney then. Sure, ten years ago, he was pro-abortion, pro-government health care, pro-amnesty, etc, but he says he doesn't believe in those things now... you know, when he was running for office.. After all, you sure can trust politicians, they are as pure as the snow. Trust used car salesmen too?
In a way, Trump and Palin have the same appeal. Neither of them are beholden to anyone, and both are outsiders.
But now, America's in trouble. I can tell by my own feelings that the social is not going to be as important as the fiscal conservatism time around. For many (general voters), the social part will not be nearly as important as the fiscal part. They will seek a Tea party type candidate but only as long as the candidate knows business and economics. If the candidate says that they are neither pro or anti abortion, it's not going to matter this time around for the voter, IMO. If Donald Trump were a tea party type and constitutionalist who believes in government staying out of our lives...he may win.
The good news is, the President cannot change abortion laws and I do not see Trump as a pro-abortion activist so I don't see him using that as a requirement when choosing judges.
This is not the election year for a social conservative and if it is... the social part of our issues are more vulnerable in the Senate which is where we really should be focused.
What's more important to whether it Trump, Palin or whoever is that they can and will beat Obama. If we lose in 2012, social issues will be even less important by 2016.
What good is legal abortion if you don't even have enough money buy a hotel room under this President?
You’re right. It will be based on whomever can fix what’s wrong with our economy and foreign policy, and can actually win.
Sarah Palin has a weak grasp of the facts and would lose horribly to Obama, virtually guaranteeing our nation’s destruction.
Anyone who votes for Palin is wasting their vote.
See, I can play too.
Wanna do Romney next? This is fun.
wowie! No kudos to GW for freeing an entire nation from an evil tyrant and saying good things about the Clintons. O man...Herman Cain, you are probably my choice!
Do I completely trust him? No.
Let me explain, however, the feeling I’m getting and why I could see myself supporting The Donald, (if he runs which he may well not), even though I myself can hardly believe I’m saying it.
Up until now, there’s really been NOBODY on the GOP side that excites me, with the exception of Herman Cain, who, unfortunately, I don’t see getting much traction (but I’d love to be proven wrong).
Palin, God bless her, is an inspiration, an outsider, and a good conservative, but, she just is not going to win, no matter how many times The Oracle of Sarah at FR says she will. It’s just like the Duncan Hunter supporters back in the ‘08 primaries but she has a lot more support. End result will be the same, however.
T-Paw is OK, but boring. Won’t beat Obama (or win the primary).
Mitt is old news, and Romneycare is a huge albatross.
Huckabee? Pleeeeze.
Gingrich? A great ideas man, but c’mon, the only one that would get beat harder in the general election than Sarah would is Newt.
Enter Donald Trump. Not the most conservative guy, but seems to have a grasp on a lot of issues we’re facing today and the only one really talking about them. In a nutshell, he might not be Mr. Right, but he might be Mr. Right Now.
It has been 3 years since that interview. Could he have had an epiphany? It is possible. I do not know.
